Market Action
QQQ – We got follow through up for the first time in this correction. Gap up with a strong close as we test the 21ema. Growth names also showed strong action with many gaps and pushes through moving averages from ranges. The 50 sma still looms above and expecting choppy volatility.
The short term expectation based on today’s close and recent action is consolidation or higher. Continuing to expect volatility. If we continue to rally through the 21ema the 50sma will be an area to watch for resistance
Bulls want to see us follow through strongly higher with growth names continue to develop bases. The gap low should be defended
Bears want to see us reverse lower and penetrate the gap area
Daily Chart of the QQQ:

IWM – Reclaim of the 21ema

IBIT- Gap higher after the tight day on the pivot. Watching for a hold above the 21ema on a closing basis
Trends (1/4 Up) – Based on the QQQ
Shortest – 10 Day EMA – Above Rising
Short-term – 21 ema – Just Below declining
Intermediate term – 50 sma – Below declining
Longterm – 200 sma – Up – Below Increasing

Market Thoughts & Focus
This is the first real follow through we’ve seen from growth names with many pushing off lows and ranges today. Constructive. Still very early in this rally if the bottom is in. The next good spot will be on a market gap down or flush lower that is supported, or a pullback into a range setting up a higher low. The 50 and 200 sma still loom higher.
Some Growth Names to watch for constructive ranges/spots:
PLTR HOOD TEM COHR TSLA MSTR INOD HIMS LMND ROOT DUOL BROS SOFI DOCS OKTA CRWD SHOP DASH GEV BE
